Middle of Nowhere, Ohio

​Have you ever traveled and felt like you were in the middle of nowhere? Recent guests of mine were traveling across the country, happened to be somewhere in Ohio, and needed a place to stay and rest before continuing their jaunt across the Midwest the next day. They searched on Airbnb and found availability at Bobbi's Bungalow in West Liberty.

One of the great attributes of this vacation rental site is that you are asked to give a review of your stay. In turn, the host gives a review of your visit to their space.

“We were driving cross country and not sure what to expect when we found ourselves in what felt like the middle of nowhere, Ohio. Then we pulled into Roberta’s place and it was the loveliest surprise! The whole place is immaculately clean and beautifully decorated. My mother who was traveling with us loved the sitting area and antique decorations. There was a fully stocked kitchen, complete with extra touches like a coffee station that made us feel at home. The beds were quite comfortable, and the shower was fantastic. My son loved the box of children’s toys in the living room. We would definitely stay again if we’re ever in the area. Thanks Roberta for a lovely stay!”

I am thrilled they enjoyed their stay in the middle of nowhere, Ohio. (I had to chuckle at that!) I appreciate her glowing review and hope they will visit again and stay longer to seek out the other treasures in our area. They may find that this little part of nowhere is a great place to explore! ​
