Tradition #7: Discovering the Fun Around West Liberty, Ohio
Sometimes it’s a family outing. Sometimes it’s a birthday celebration. Sometimes it’s a special event or attraction that brings visitors to the area. And sometimes, as we’ve discovered over the years, our guests simply want to slow down, explore a small Ohio town and experience the friendliness of the people who live here.
A Birthday Trip to Ohio Caverns One family who stayed with us this summer is a perfect example. Their young adult daughter was celebrating her birthday, and one of the things she really wanted to do was visit Ohio Caverns. Rather than making it a quick day trip from Cincinnati, the family decided to stay for three nights at Bobbi’s Bungalow. Tradition #6: Special Guests Who Have Stayed at Bobbi’s BungalowOver the past 10 years, we’ve had all kinds of guests stay at Bobbi’s Bungalow Guest House. Some came to West Liberty and the surrounding area for family gatherings, weddings, reunions, sporting events, or simply to visit someone they love. And then there are the guests who came to the area for something a little more unusual. Over the years, Bobbi’s Bungalow has had the privilege of welcoming astronauts, musicians, authors, business professionals, speakers, traveling nurses, families in transition, and many other special guests.
Tradition #5: Making Time for FamilyOne of the things I have come to appreciate most during the past 10 years at Bobbi's Bungalow is how often a stay at the bungalow is really about something much more important than a place to sleep. It's about making time for family.
Tradition #4: Celebrating Youth Sports
That’s one of the reasons I love having families stay at Bobbi’s Bungalow Guest House in West Liberty, Ohio.
Over the years, I’ve welcomed families who were in town for softball tournaments, West Liberty-Salem football games, the Jeff Jordan Trained wrestling camp, the Bellefontaine Band Spectacular, and other youth activities. And I've learned that sometimes what a family needs most after a busy day isn't another hotel room. They need a little reprieve. |
